Holiday Sessions Are Here!

Here we are again—one of the most magical times of the year! The holidays have a way of sneaking up on us, and before we know it, we're gathering with family, decorating the tree, and searching for the perfect photo for holiday cards and gifts.

I'm so excited to announce that this year's Holiday Sessions are officially open!

As always, I like to keep my holiday setups simple, timeless, and natural. Rather than elaborate props or busy scenes, I create a space where the focus stays exactly where it belongs—on you and the people you love. This also allows us to spend more of our session capturing genuine smiles, snuggles, laughter, and connection, giving you a larger variety of beautiful images during our limited session time.

Because these are mini sessions, spots are very limited and tend to fill quickly. If you've been thinking about booking, I encourage you to reserve your session as soon as possible.

Looking for something a little different? If you'd like more time or a location that's meaningful to your family, regular portrait sessions are always available. You can book a full session at the location of your choice for a more personalized experience.

Whether you join me for a holiday mini or a full family session, I can't wait to help you preserve this season and create memories you'll treasure for years to come.

I look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces this holiday season!

Here’s what to expect:

🕒 Session Length: Mini sessions typically last between 15–20 minutes, so please plan to arrive at least 5–10 minutes early. This helps ensure we make the most of your time in front of the camera.

📸 Image Delivery: You’ll receive at least 12 edited, high-resolution images—but there’s always a chance you’ll get more! I love delivering a gallery full of moments that make you smile.

Want More Time? If you’re looking for a more personalized experience or want extra time to include outfit changes, extended family, or a special location, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to schedule a full-length session just for you.

There's something so special about the beauty of old oak trees this time of year. Their sprawling branches, soft filtered light, and timeless charm create the perfect backdrop for holiday portraits that will never go out of style.

This year's "Under the Oak" holiday sessions are designed for families who love a classic, natural look. One of the things I love most about the Under the Oak setting is its natural beauty and versatility. The timeless backdrop of the oak trees complements just about any style, giving you the flexibility to dress in a festive Christmas color palette with rich reds, greens, and plaids, or keep things classic with soft neutrals and earthy tones. Whether you're envisioning a cozy holiday card or simply updated family portraits, the natural setting lets your wardrobe reflect your family's unique style while keeping the focus on the people you love.

Some favorite color palettes include:

  • Cream, ivory, oatmeal, and beige
  • Olive, sage, and eucalyptus green
  • Rust, terracotta, and warm browns
  • Burgundy, deep cranberry, and forest green
  • Soft blues and denim
  • Mustard or golden accents

Holiday Tide

Honeymoon Island State Park

November 6th & 22nd

For those who love showing off their tropical hometown on their holiday cards, Holiday Tide is made just for you.

Join me at Honeymoon Island State Park for a holiday session that embraces everything we love about living on the Gulf Coast. From soft white sand to sparkling water and coastal breezes, there's no place quite like the beach during the holiday season.

This year, I'll be using a location within the park that gives us the best of both worlds. We'll capture those classic beach portraits while also incorporating some of the park's beautiful natural greenery for added texture and a subtle holiday feel. The result is a gallery that feels timeless, relaxed, and unmistakably Florida.

Holiday Tide is all about embracing our beautiful Florida coast, so think classic, coastal, and effortless.

A few color palettes that photograph beautifully on the beach include:

  • White, cream, and sand
  • Soft blues and seafoam green
  • Light gray and navy
  • Sage and eucalyptus
  • Dusty coral or muted blush
  • Khaki and light denim

One thing to keep in mind is that Florida weather can be unpredictable this time of year. While we often enjoy warm, sunny days, an occasional cold front can bring cooler temperatures. Consider incorporating layers like a cozy cardigan, lightweight sweater, or even a pair of linen or khaki pants into your outfit. Not only will they keep you comfortable if there's a chill in the air, but they also add texture and variety to your photos.

Not every family wants a beach holiday session—and if you have little ones who shine brightest in the morning, I've got the perfect Florida-inspired option for you!

Join me on the morning of November 14th at the beautiful Gizella Kopsick Arboretum for a holiday session surrounded by lush tropical greenery. This hidden gem offers all the Florida charm with towering palms, winding pathways, and vibrant plants, creating a timeless backdrop that feels festive without the sand.

For families with young children, morning sessions often mean happier smiles, more energy, and a much smoother experience. And if you've ever wrestled with sandy feet, messy outfits, or salty hair before the camera even comes out, you'll appreciate this location even more! The arboretum provides a clean, shaded setting where we can focus on what matters most—your family.

The lush greenery of the arboretum pairs beautifully with soft, natural colors. Think light and airy outfits that complement the tropical backdrop without competing with it.

Some favorite color palettes include:

  • Cream, ivory, white, and beige
  • Sage, olive, or eucalyptus green
  • Dusty blue or soft teal
  • Rust, terracotta, or muted coral
